Pipes and Pints have signed with IHP Records; are performing throughout this coming festival summer with the current line-up for the last time; and are holding a competition for a new singer!
Let's start with the good news. Despite the incomplete material we have ready for a new record, we have signed with I Hate People (IHP) Records for the release of our upcoming album. We are really excited about this. For those who dont know, IHP is a record label, owned by legendary punk rock patron Andre Bahr, based in Germany. It is definitely a leading label of the genre in Europe. Andre is a former founder of People Like You (PLY) Records but he disagreed with other partners about the future direction of PLY. We share Andre's vision and are really looking forward to working with IHP. We will keep you informed about the progress of the new album.

The bad news is that our current singer, Mike, has decided to do the festival season over the next 3 months and then to leave the line-up. The main reason is that he can't find enough energy and passion for touring anymore and he also has long term homesickness. Even though we are not happy about this and have tried everything to be able to continue on with him, his decision is fully respected and we wish him good luck. This type of situation is not new for us at all and we are definitely not going to slow down. Armed with many new songs in the works and the full support of
IHP Records, we are actively seeking a new member who would love to join Pipes and Pints, be able to start touring, and who can sing and write songs with passion.

And that is why Pipes and Pints are announcing a competition for a new singer!

Is your English perfect or native? Are you a lyricist? Do you have a voice that can crush angels' wings and make rocks cry? Is music everything to you and do you have experience? Have you been trying for ages to start a band that tours the world and headlines at huge festivals in Europe? Are you trying to get your music out to a well-known label? Have you always wanted a band for life but have never had the chance...or already had one and lost it? Are the ideals of punk, GNWP, and solidarity not strange to you? Then let's do this! We are offering loads of music and enthusiasm, an equal share in the band, a contract for a new album with IHP Records, tour and festival booking, and a rehearsal room and history in Prague, Czech Repuplic, in the heart of Europe.
